Three female track and field state champions from Rome Free Academy were honored by the City of Rome by Mayor Jacqueline Izzo.

The three girls were invited to Rome City Hall to receive certificates. The recipients included freshman Gianna Capoccia, junior Sarah Crockett and Rome Free Academy Class of 2015 graduate Mariah Mays. The program as a whole was also honored.

Congratulations to the three honorees, the track and field team, head coach Brett Couchman, and assistants Ted Swavely, Matt Down and Diane Stevenson!
