The Common Thread Art exhibit had their opening on March 1, 2018. The exhibit will be available to view until April 4 at the Rome Art and Community Center. This show features teacher and student art work and is provided by Madison Oneida BOCES.

You can find Megan Anderegg and her RFA student, Isabella Madeira's self portraits on display. Representing Ridge Mills/Joy Elementary is Mary Kernan and her student Marcus Lubecki. They drew beautiful pictures of Poinsettias. Jennifer Giachetta and her student from Joy Elementary, Gianna Badalto drew animals. Jennifer drew a Rhino and Gianna an Owl. Gansevoort teacher Amanda Benoit and her student Madison Fletcher both created a pot that you can find on display.

At the opening, Gansevoort teacher Amanda Benoit tried her hand at virtual reality drawing! Thank you to those who attended, but it's not too late to check it out- you have until April 4 to go see their amazing artwork!
