The RFA Girls Varsity Bowling Team has been undefeated since January 12, 2017, when they lost to Proctor. But exactly five years later (January 12, 2022) the Black Knights beat their rival Proctor with a score of 11-0 last night! You could say for the last five years they are on a roll.

Alexandra Tapia Signs Letter of Intent to Play Lacrosse at The College of Saint Rose

On November 10, RFA Senior Alexandra Tapia signed her letter of intent to play Division II Lacrosse for the Golden Knights at The College of Saint Rose. She plays attack position on the RFA Lacrosse team. “I picked the College of Saint Rose because when I met my coach and teammates and knew I liked the environment and it satisfied my major,” said Tapia.

RFA Receives Silver Badge for Biliteracy Program from NYSED
11/05/2021
Rome City School District is excited to announce the involvement in offering the New York State Seal of Biliteracy for the past two years. Receiving this great distinction demonstrates proficiency and fluency in two languages or more. All students who have received this honor had to complete a ten-minute presentation in their target language. Students also had to write a paper and complete an interview with a person native to that country.

Denti Presents: 101 Dalmatians Kids

Louis V. Denti Elementary School’s Drama Club has been working on a socially distanced musical since the middle of March. They were able to present Disney’s 101 Dalmatians KIDS for limited audiences on May 25th and May 26th. The high-energy 30-minute musical, designed for elementary school-aged performers, is based on the classic Dodie Smith novel and the beloved Disney films. ​
