Donna Guiliano, Library Aide/Teacher Aide at John E. Joy Elementary

How long have you worked in the RCSD?  

In October 1982 I started working in Food Service at John Joy. In 1989 I took a position as Library Aide at Joy and have been here ever since. I have worked for five Principals over the last 39 years.

What do you like most about your job?  

Being with the kids and doing different tasks throughout the school day. I am a “jack of all trades,” covering for classrooms and secretaries as needed.  

What inspires you? 

My family; my grandchildren especially.

What is a fun fact about you?  

My former principal called me the grandmother of the school because I always take care of them and bake.
