Emily Cowell

I am Emily Cowell (Coach C) the Varsity Softball Head Coach at RFA.  I am also an Elementary PE teacher for the Rome City School District. The Spring of 2025 will be my first season coaching at Varsity for RFA.  I was previously the JV Coach in 2023-2024.  Prior to that I was the Varsity Head Coach at Monticello High School, and prior to that an Assistant Coach at Herkimer College. I played College Softball at Herkimer College in 2010-2011.  My time there was blessed with a Mountain Valley Conference Championship including individual recognition as 1st Team All-Conference, 1st Team All-Region, and 2nd Team All-American.  I then transferred to SUNY Cortland in which our team won the Conference Championship, Regional Championship, and we completed the season as the National Runner-Up.
