These programs are provided to the families to help stretch their dollars through tough times. The school lunch office advises that everyone try to take advantage of the Free and Reduced program. We will answer any questions and help you through any of the following programs.
The most important thing to remember with these programs is that we want to provide each student with a great tasting meal that is very nutritious.
Community Eligibility Provision
We are pleased to inform you that the Rome City School District will be implementing the Community Eligibility Provision option available to schools participating in the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs for the school year 2023 - 2024.
What does this mean for your child (ren) attending the school identified above?
All students enrolled at Rome City School District are eligible to receive a healthy breakfast and lunch at school at NO CHARGE to your household each day of the 2023-2024 school year. Your child (ren) will be able to participate in these meal programs without having to pay a fee or submit an application.
We ask that you fill out the attached household income eligibility form. This form ensures that the district can receive additional State and Federal program benefits.
