Black History Month

We are excited to invite you to join the Rome City School District in celebrating Black History Month.

On Tuesday, February 11, we will honor the theme of African Americans and Labor with an inspiring evening of music, poetry, storytelling, and more. The celebration will take place at the Rome Free Academy Auditorium at 6:30 p.m. This event is free, open to the public, and proudly sponsored by the African American Heritage Association (AAHA), the Rome City School District, and the Rome NAACP.

This is a wonderful opportunity to come together as a community to recognize the contributions of African Americans and to reflect on their role in shaping our history and culture.

We encourage you to join us for this meaningful celebration. Your presence will help make the evening even more special.

We look forward to seeing you there!
