The Rome City School District is centrally located between Syracuse and Albany in the heart of New York. The public school district serves approximately 5,200 students and has 1,252 employees. We constantly seek new employees for our positions and strive to hire the best people for our team.

The Human Resources Office is responsible for all employment, licensure, benefits, compensation, equity, compliance, and employee relations functions for the district.

The Human Resources staff is available to assist employees and potential employees in any way possible so the children of Rome City School District receive the best education.
