On May 23, Gansevoort 5th graders held their 3rd annual wax museum showcase. Each student picked an influential person from history or current times to research and write a biography on, using the Who Was? book series. The students then dressed up and acted the part of their chosen person in a "living wax museum." Students and families were invited to see the young historical figures come to life when they pressed the red button.
Teachers who helped organize this were Meghan Pokines, Amanda Bonanza, and Susan Lange.
