We are excited to announce the launch of our strategic planning process, a collaborative effort aimed at shaping the future of the Rome City School District. This process will help us define our priorities, align resources, and establish a clear vision for the success of our students, staff, and community.
We officially started the process in mid-January with a dynamic session featuring our students, whose valuable insights are helping shape our mission, vision, and values statements. The Strategic Planning Steering Committee—comprising district staff, families, and community partners—also held the first of five to six meetings to guide and oversee this critical work.
To ensure broad community input, we’ve created this survey for you to share your voice. This district-wide SURVEY will be available from February 10 to February 24, providing you with the opportunity to offer input on the future direction of our schools. Your voice is essential to this process, and we are committed to ensuring that every stakeholder has the chance to contribute. Together, we will build a strategic plan that reflects our shared goals and aspirations—paving the way for a brighter future for our students and community.
