Dear RFA Parents of our new incoming Freshmen!
I am sending a reminder regarding Freshmen Orientation on Tuesday, August 30th. A breakdown of this event is listed below and is merely a snapshot of what you have already received a week ago.
I split the 9th grade into thirds alphabetically to have more time to sit and talk with families and answer any questions. We will meet in the lower section of the auditorium and review basic guidelines, expectations, and procedures for all students entering RFA for their first time. Once this session has ended, we will move to the cafeteria and have another conversation as to how this area operates during school, how the auditorium works during lunches, passes to leave the cafeteria, and how to access the school store during lunch. Once this has ended, students will be adjourned to the main lobby where their schedules will be available for pickup.
I can't wait to see all of you and we are super excited to see the new 9th graders and want to assist in making this a great start to their high school career!

12:00-1:30 - Freshman G-O
3:00-4:30 - Freshman P-Z
9th Grade Orientation Tour on August 30th:
Once the presentation of student expectations in the auditorium is over, we will move all kids and parents to the cafeteria and review, with a short video taken last school year, the rules and expectations of the cafeteria. Schedules will be available after all has been accomplished.
