Colleen McEwen, agriculture specialist from Cornell Cooperative Extension of Oneida County visited classrooms at John Joy, on January 25. to do a bee presentation, which goes along with the plants and animals’ science curriculum. Sam Zagurski from Connected Community Schools coordinated the visit and was impressed with the knowledge that students knew about bees. McEwen brought honey that students could sample.
