This past week, the Rome community had the chance to meet and welcome the new Superintendent of Schools, Ms. Nerlande Anselme. Two events were held: one at Rome Free Academy on August 20 and another at Connected Community Schools on August 23.
Both gatherings were filled with friendly faces as community members came out to introduce themselves and chat with Ms. Anselme. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with refreshments provided by Connected Community Schools, making it a perfect setting for building new connections.
Ms. Anselme, now fully settled into her role, is excited to continue meeting with staff and working closely with the community to support Rome's students.
