As part of the, Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), Title IV, Part A is intended to help school districts to provide all students with access to a well-rounded education, improve school conditions for student learning, and improve the use of technology in order to improve the academic achievement and digital literacy of all students.
A Comprehensive Needs Assessment by the community stakeholders (teachers, administrators, students, families, local businesses, and institutions of higher education) is required every 3 years. The Rome City School District is seeking your input on our ESSA Title IV, Part A: Student Support and Academic Enrichment Programs Funding allocations for the 22-23 school year. Please note that all buildings in the Rome City School District are eligible for Title IV, Part A funds while priority is placed on those with the highest need, the highest percentage of low-income children, and buildings identified as needing support and improvement.
