Congratulations to Carol Miller on receiving the New York State School Counselors Association (NYSSCA) Lifetime Achievement Award on November 18. Miller received this award for outstanding service, achievement, and dedication to the counseling profession. Miller is a School Counselor at Ridge Mills Elementary School.

In her career as a School Counselor, Carol has made a marked imprint on the profession nationally, statewide and right here in Rome, NY. Carol has been a presenter at national and statewide conferences, she hosts social media groups to help network and support school counselors from around the world, she continuously develops and markets tools for school counselors to use with students, and she has been monumental in developing and refining the Rome CSD School Counseling program at the school and district level. I am elated for Carol for this deserving recognition, and I'm proud that she has chosen to work for the children and families of the Rome City School District,” said Amanda Jones, Director of Counseling Services.
